Premier Training in Costa Ludus’ Backyard Home Range
Get more one-on-one time with world-class trainer Chris Costa and Primary Revolver Instructor, Morgan Drew. Firearms training takes place on Costa’s backyard home range. Lower attendee-to-instructor ratios are achieved through our advantageous class-size limit. Class sizes are capped at eight students instead of the usual 23, allowing for more individually specialized training. Get more from Costa’s technical instruction and live fire time than previously attained. The range offers 360-degree views of the mountains. When the training day is over, guests can enjoy the Salmon River, amazing views, and the seclusion of their choice of area lodging.
Premier Training – Revolver Course Description
Revolver 1 is designed to give the beginner and intermediate student the opportunity to learn the proper fundamentals of double action revolver operation. Starting with mindset, this course focuses on implementing the double action revolver as defensive tool and how its employment differs from the semi-automatic pistol in common use today. The class focuses on the core foundation of accuracy, acceptable accuracy under stress and how to efficiently balance speed and accuracy with proper weapon manipulation. Whether you carry a revolver as a back up gun, use a revolver for protection in the home, as your primary CCW or as a defensive tool in the woods this course is designed to develop an understanding of how to efficiently and effectively employ one of the most enduring repeating handguns still in common usage. The revolver course will be instructed by Morgan Drew and Chris Costa.

However, it is up to the student to decide what power level of ammunition they are willing to shoot. It is highly recommended that you bring a second revolver to class in case you have a mechanical problem. Loaner revolvers may be available but if you are shooting an uncommon caliber then a loaner revolver most likely will not be available.
