Carbine Instructor Course Description
This Carbine Instructor course is specifically designed for Mil, LEO, and Civilians in mind. The goal of this course is to get the shooter more confident with their shooting abilities, equipment, and immerse them into the world of being a teacher. The student will be required to pass the following: an instructor shooting qualification, written test, a live fire instructor demo with a teach back to the students, in-depth understanding of the phycological and physiological effects on the human body and working as a more fluid training team. This course is fast-paced, hands-on, and has live fire drills forcing the shooter to find the perfect balance of speed and precision. The course will also focus on team tactics, communication, and tactical telepathics. Instructors who qualify will be able to introduce a solid and well rounded carbine course to their unit, officers, and concerned citizens revenant to todays carbine’s true potential. They will be able to successfully teach their students the skills necessary to conduct live fire demos safely, be able to answer critical question about the carbine, develop work around for students that process injuries or for those who can not do all techniques. This course will successfully assist the instructor to find the students best way and most efficient choice of movement and technique. This course will also provide a template for training sustainment. The topics listed below will be covered in depth.
The following will be required to pass the Instructor Course.
- A written test
- A live instructor demo and teach back portion
- An instructor qualification shooting drill

Equipment List
Students provide their own ammo: 1,600 rounds of rifle ammo and 300 rounds of handgun ammo.
Hardware – A functional and practical handgun chambered in 9mm, .40 cal, or .45 ACP. If available, a spare weapon system is also an excellent idea.
A functional and practical carbine or battle rifle chambered in 5.56×45, 5.45×39, 300 Blackout, 7.62×39, 7.62×51. If available, a spare weapon system is also an excellent idea.
•A cleaning kit and tools that are compatible with the weapon system(s) in question is also a must.
•Each student should have a minimum of 5 working magazines.
•Note pad, and pen/pencil
•Clothing suited to strenuous activity as well as being seasonally appropriate
•Rain gear / cold weather gear (seasonal)
•Ear pro (electronic preferred) / Eye pro
•Baseball style hat recommended
•Proper belt to support equipment

Directions from lodging to range (distance, time) 30 minutes. Directions from town: take 16th Street East, Turn right onto Tunnelton Road, continue for approximately 9.5 miles, turn right into range drive. If you see large metal grain bins on the left you have gone too far.
Ammo Limitations- None. Students may pick up brass.

Directions to range: No exact address. Take unmarked road across from Tri-State Seed (1000 N Columbia Ave. Connell, WA 99326) north towards water tower.

LL&Night Vision Class: Each day the class will gather at the range at approximately 4:30PM and will end around 12:30AM. Confirmed start times will be sent out about 2 weeks before class.
